6th july! youth day,milk run

yaw! yaw! waddup peeps! this post is about 6th july yaw! the best day ever in my career in a band so far! thanks kazillonly lots to natasia for the opportunity to perform for a public event!...it was damn fun and i'm sure everyone enjoyed it too....thanks to saven,u rock!
it was held beside river valley primary alongside the
s'pore river...it was the Milk Run 2008!...it is a fund raising run for all ages...there are a range of performancers by locals and bacically youths...there are dancers by tertiary schools,singers like taqif(ariq) and fendi(live the dream),bands like sunny days etc and us! there are also booths or should i call it stalls set up by schools and the one i knw is bishan ite coz my sis is involved...
power babe! thanks to saven(t2s) was so excited and was anxious about performing! we had jamm and practised the songs and are very confident....on that day,we met at about 9++ at amk mrt last cabin...tht wanted to go with sis but she went earlier with fwens...but the night before,chat with sis...
'sis,sunday come down and support arg!' i said
'wat do u have?' replied sis
'i've got an event,MIlk Run.i'll be performing rock band...' i said
'wat?!? omg! i'll be there too! i must be there for my sch!! she replied
then blablabla....so yah she'll be there too...
reached the place late coz we're lost! need to be there
and sound check by 10 but reached there 45 mins late..lols! luckily nas has the organizers contact and called and called again,askin on how the heck to get there...then blablabla....reached the location and wth! the place is packed with youths! nervous can be seen from us...when we arrived,sunny days is doing sound check...and god their great! their genre is indy and they play great music!
then blablabla...we sound checked and omg,we're horrible at that moment...guess we're nervous...that
says it all...lols...then tht of jamming again for the final time so went to penin...but then the jamming studios are closed so spirits of jamming poof! dissapears...then ate lunch and head to esplanade to rehearse the song using watever means necessary...and i dunno lah way happened,apiz and adzhar had stomach ache so they spent about 10 mins in the gents...then went to the main area and sat down and rehearsed...
then blabla,went back there and hell yeah! the place
was super packed yaw!! then went to the holding area and waited for our turn...then about 6 45 pm,our supporters;friends were expected to arrive so we waited outside...dissapointedly they're lost too! we need to get ready so we head back at the place...luckily our performance was held back and they give way to the prize giving...fooh! heng arg! then the clan arrived!! yeah! baru ader semangat! then blablabla,its our time to perform and thats when nad and her gang arrived...was happy to see her...terubat rindu di hati... =) then performed the two songs and hell yeah! we rocked the place yaw! wohoo!
the crowd was great and everyone enjoyed it!...then after that head to youth park...we lepak coz got gig...then blablabla...best babe!
